You can follow these steps:
- Un-install Internet download Manager.
- Un-install the chrome or Firefox or any browser you have.
- Then Go to C> Program Files ..drive or installation directory where you IDM system files are kept previously.
- Delete the folder Internet Download Manager.
- Now, Restart you system.
- Reinstall all the above software one by one ( I meant first the web browsers then IDM).
- First don’t switch to any account on the Chrome.
- Now, Download any file.
- Second Now you can switch to any account.
- If problem occurs then open the http://chrome://settings/ then you can scroll down and click on “Show advance settings” then scroll down and click on reset setting.
- If problem still occurs then open IDM options and “ Check out all the boxes whose subheading says “ Capture Download from the following browsers” then click OK.
- If problem still occurs then you have to download new IDM
